Mandarin

We are learning all about Chinese culture and learning to speak mandarin with Min our chinese teacher. 

So far we have learned some chinese greetings,common phrases, family members names, the numbers 1-10 and some animal names. Min has showed us lots of pictures of different places in China and told us about what life is like in China. We enjoyed finding out all about how the Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year and we were able to take part in some of these activities when we celebrated Chinese New Year in St. Oliver Plunkett. The girls and boys look forward to seeing Min every Tuesday morning in school.
