    Staying Safe Online

Parents it is vitally important that you make your children aware of the dangers of sharing personal information online.  It's always a good idea to be aware of the social media sites your child uses and monitor their activity on these sites.

Did you know that apps such as 'meet me' have a rating of 17+ or that to have a Facebook account you must be 13 years of age?

It might be a good idea to watch the following video with your child to remind them how to stay safe online. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_o8auwnJtqE

    The School Council

The School Council were recently highly commended by the Speaker's School Council Awards, on
their Anti-Bullying project. The children worked exceptionally hard on the project, organising a school assembly, which outlined an important message to all children. Firstly, that bullying is not acceptable and secondly, what to do if they feel that they are a victim of bullying. The School Council were also involved in updating the school's Anti-Bullying Policy. As a result of the project, there are now Playground Buddies on duty, helping children to feel safe in our school.
